Living In Magic

Everything in life is about my relationship with something else. Whatever my sense of ‘I’ is, it is relating to the other. It is always ‘I’ and ‘the other’ – never just ‘the other’ without relationship to ‘me’. If our sense of Self is based on lower levels of consciousness then the world and God are perceived likewise. If ‘I am a sinner’ is my identity, then my relationship to God is based on fear and unworthiness; God is a punishing creator and the world is a cruel and sinful place.

On the contrary, if my sense of ‘I’ is a being of wonder, spiritual, pure, and innocent, a lovable, beautiful being – then my relationship to God, myself and the world is viewed likewise. God is beautiful, lovable and magical – and the world is my playground.

Everything depends upon this inner self image, the fundamental sense of ‘me’. Who am I? What is my starting position? What is the foundation of YOUR life that is the endless backdrop and reference to every single event and relationship you have ever had throughout your entire life and even in your dreams?

Think about it.

Most of us have accepted a lower sense of self based on relentless social and media bombardments. From this conditioning, we are limited ‘individuals’ in a dejected world who need to live up to endless social and media pressure and conform to fantasy images and social norms that are dysfunctional and impossible to attain. We are therefore permanently not good enough – unless we are deluded enough to believe we have temporarily attained a position within the house of cards which then gives us a sense of false pride, only to be destroyed with the slightest breeze of life, and result in anger, disappointment and other negative, self-defeating emotions.

God cannot truly be loved or trusted, because from the lower states, He/She is of the same frugal nature as the rest. This is typified by the endless scriptural accounts of an angry, vengeful, punishing personality of God based on human emotions and concerns.

Whatever is our core sense of self IS our sense of the world and God.

So, the question is: What sense of self would lead us to experience freedom from limitations and lead us to deeper happiness, love, peace and eternal satisfaction?

How can we transcend these levels of consciousness and therefore perceive an new REALITY around us?

The first thing is to consider that the ‘world’ and the character commonly known as ‘me’ or ‘I’ – is NOT me, nor has it anything whatsoever to do with me, not even slightly. This may come across as a somewhat radical idea – yet it is necessary to free ourselves from the claws of guilt and limitation that bind us ’til death.

Let it all go. Whatever happened in your life, whatever is happening in your life, whatever that person did to others, whatever others did to him/her had NOTHING whatsoever to do with you and is a meaningless as a 5 minute cartoon show playing on a television 5000 miles away in an abandoned house with no one in sight to even hear it.

Take this degree of un-involvement. Let go of this relentless and permanent addiction to a movie that remains what it is regardless of your attachment or non attachment to it.

Let it go… release yourself from the primary bondage that holds you in constant limitation. Expand your horizons. Let the real world of unlimited reality arise from the depth of your soul, your real self. Allow the consciousness you are to manifest and reveal itself fully as your attention goes beyond time, space and concepts, beyond a flimsy meaningless identity based on TV commercials and open the door of wonderment, eternal grace and infinite love.

It is here that we find the Real God, the One who remains permanently beyond all limitation and label based perceptions. The infinite One, who is constant, unchanging and completely free of all judgement.

To know God is to know yourself. The Self is Equal to God.

The real God is the Ocean of Love, the Ocean of Peace, the Divine One who cannot help but dissolve the walls of all that is less than love. Outside time, outside words, outside of place. Constant, eternal, limitless.

Know yourself as the same and you will see the world at last. Wake up to a new reality and that old world is lost to you.

Some people say life is pre-written. Others say it is an open choice. I have found that both are true – and this is perhaps the greatest paradox of them all.

Just for a moment, imagine how this reality would feel:
You know that every detail of your experience of life is fixed in advance. Nothing can ever be ‘wrong’ – everything is part of the Divine Plan and is benevolent. Everything will happen as it is eternally planned to, so you can afford to sit back, relax and enjoy the show as would a guest or detached observer. You are watching a movie and the person who you may have thought was ‘me’ is in fact a fictional character on the screen. Every action and emotion is scripted and nothing can go ‘wrong’ to the audience as a result of the movie. How does this feel?

Then, consider that every moment, every now moment, you have a choice. You are an actor, but you can choose to do this or do that, to think one thing or another; you are free to choose your feelings and actions in every single now moment. All possibilities are openly abundant to you. Whatever you can think and feel you can manifest.

By living in this Divine Paradox – you remain unlimited, free of stress in a state of ease and grace,  fully empowered to choose the highest in every moment.

Play with this. Experience it. You are pure consciousness and exist forever, so relax, sit back and enjoy the act. One way or the other or both, it’s all good.

From this state of grace, your moment to moment choices will naturally be Divinely Guided. Try it and see. Experience is the greatest authority.

Appearances are deceiving. Reality continues in a constant flow outside of limited trivia. The unrest of one is the pure pleasure of another. Exact, perfect and divine is how moments proceed without judgment. Changes rearrange the layers of sky and their life force remains.

Storms and lightning blow down mountains and hills, but life that is all does not question or shudder. Know yourself now as all that you are. Know yourself fully as light from afar.

Living the life of your dreams is as much about doing what you love as it is about saying NO to what you don’t. Our lives are filled with endless choice. At each second you have a decision -’Am I coming from the divine part of my heart, am I living in my truth, in alignment with my purpose, my destiny – or am I feeding an addiction, following the dictates of other people or the mass media? Am I being true to myself, true to my heart, or am I acting from a state of fear, weakness or need to fit in?’

Be honest with yourself. After all, its YOUR life and you are the one who has to experience everything. You are the one who has to deal with the consequences of your own actions and live your own life, at every moment.

Look at what makes YOU feel empowered, happy, contented and at peace with yourself.  What gives true meaning to your life? What excites you and brings a big smile to your face? When you know what your life is truly about, be very, very clear about what is opposing you from living your own life – and learn to say NO. Don’t let anything come between you and your truth. It’s your life – what else do you have?

You may not be able to completely change your whole life situation in a day, but the more you know who you are and stop wasting your precious time living the lives of others and the media, the more you can actually live the life of your dream, the life that brings joy and wonder, both to you and the world.

So learn to ’stop’. STOP. Check and change. Who am I and what am I here to do? It’s only ONE second at a time you need to make a choice. Become your best friend and your own teacher. Know who you are and what you have to do. Let go of the old, say goodbye -  and one step at a time, one moment at a time -  be who you were born to be.

No one will ever be you. No one else came here to do the things you can do. No one will ever be as you are for the whole of eternity.

Small or large, your actions are unique and significant. You have gifts to share from your heart to the world. Open your heart to your gifts. Open your mind to the vastness of eternity. Realise that each and every second of your life is precious and that the world awaits you.

Nothing goes to waste, so know who you are and what you are here to do. Forget what you ought to be doing -  and be who you were born to be, do what you were born to do. Only you know what that is.

Live the life you love and that alone will bring you true joy and serve the world fully. Nothing can stop the power of eternity within you. Accept your unique wonder and claim back your power to live the life your heart desires -  and make that new life begin from NOW.

Time will show you that life is on your side. Look back over the course of time and you will see fascinating events and connections that only now are clearly visible. Everything, ultimately was good. Each moment, a flicker in eternity. So know it in your heart to be true. Trust in the divine light of the One, the Ocean of Love.

There IS benefit at every step. There is power at every moment. Life is sweet as perceived. So why not relax a little and enjoy the wonder and magic  that is happening through all eternity?

Why not make your face cheerful as you turn towards the sun? Why not relax, let go and be who YOU were born to be?

You are always being held in the arms of love – even through the so called worst times of your life. The love that exists throughout eternity has nowhere to go except to you, as you are love.

So relax more and open to this loving nourishment that is available always. Breathe in this love and be free. Watch the person you think you are run around, talk, eat, sleep, while you take it easy – you’ll be aware of the eternity you are and always will be.

Learn the art of the calmness of the guest and have fun. You life is happening in its own divine wonder – so enjoy it and be free. Be happy with the sweetness that dwells within and without throughout all eternity.

Learn to take life easy and you will be blessed with a sweet smile on your lips and a gentle warmth in your heart that never goes cold. The eternity you are exists forever and remains stable with every single moment and every single breath – so wake up and enjoy it now!
